March21, Today our ratio of citations per fish was better,
with 13 citations out of 16 Blackfin Tuna,with the largest tipping the
scales at 34lbs and we also had a 30lb King mackerel ! Great fishing
again today ! The guys let me get my photo with the fish too.
March 15 I'm starting to feel like a broken record here ! 14
Citations out of 21 Tunas today ! Several Blackfin over 30 lbs .
I don't know how the action could get any hotter !
March14, Once again we had hot tuna fishing, with many Blackfins and a
Yellowfin. We also tried the bottomfish but the current was not in our
favor and only caught a few. 12 "citations" tunas out of 20 is a great day any where you fish.
March 11, We had a party of 2 today and when it was all over
we had 12 Blackfin with 6 being citation size one of them tipped the
scale at 36lbs. We also caught many large Amberjack and a 200lb Bull
shark. They "filled the cracks in the cooler" with really large Seabass
and Tilefish. Everyone (including me) had a BLAST !
March 2. Nice Bluefin @ 60 and 75lbs, 5 more fish released and a handful of Blackfin over 20 lbs filled the fishbox.
Feb 16. Tuna, Tuna, Tuna, by 11:00 we had 18 big
Blackfin and a 71 lb Bluefin in the box. Not to bad for a day's
fishing. Everyone had a ball, and I can't wait to get back out there .
Feb 15. A gain, there were plenty of Bluefins. We boated one at
151 lb and released many that would have tipped the scales at over
70lb. There were also a few Black and Yellowfin available today.
Feb 13. PLENTY Bluefin Tuna ! I fished last Monday and the
anglers told me that if we hooked another fish that I had to catch it
cause they were whipped! Two days ago the boats "couldn't get away from
them". Right now the fish are "low" in fat and therefore VERY good
eating! There are also plenty of Blackfin, some Yellowfin and a
good number of Wahoo being caught. So don't wait, the fish are biting
Jan.23, Last week, the best fishing was for Bluefin Tuna( cool water fish) over 200 lbs, this week the Wahoo( warm water fish
) have made for exciting action. You may not know excatually what
you'll catch this time of year, but it will taste good on
the fork !
Jan.15, Ok, what would you
like
to catch now? We have caught everything this month except a marlin.
Grouper, Snapper, Tilefish, Seabass, Giant Amberjack, Triggerfish,
loads of Wahoo and King Mackerel, Mahi-mahi, Yellow and Blackfin
Tuna( we did have a marlin in the spread
but I missed!)

Dec. If the weather let us out the box being full of fish sent us home
